Creating your own style poutine is always a fun and delicious. Once you throw a pile of fries onto the plate, your ideas can be endless. I thought it would be fun to get creative with Cuban inspired ingredients, and with options like ropa vieja, plantains, yuca or black beans, it just sounded perfect already! Below I provided guidelines because you can explore with your own flavors and ideas. If you don’t like ropa vieja, make other Cuban or Latin inspired meat like carne asada or vaca frita. If you are looking for a kick, garnish with some fresh jalapeno. Have fun brainstorming. Think of your favorite Cuban meals, side dishes, what do you like to eat best at Cuban restaurants? Then go from there, anything you play with on your own will come out great!
