Crockpot Chili
My mom always made a huge pot of chili on Halloween for us when we were young. The past few years I have made that my routine as well. I made it in the Crockpot this time and it was incredibly easy!
Ingredients
Ground beef
28 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies
28 oz can diced tomatoes
Empty tomato can half filled with water
Choose your beans- I did 4 cans: 2 black, 1 white kidney and 1 red kidney
Your spice: I added- 1 scotch bonnet pepper, sometimes I use a jalapeno. Generously sprinkle with chili powder, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, ground black pepper and garlic powder.
Salt to taste
Shredded cheese (of your choice) and avocado for toppings
Instructions
On a skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked and strain.
Add everything to Crockpot *except the cheese and avocado.
Give a stir, put on lid and cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve topped with cheese and avocado.
