Buffalo Chicken Dip

IMG_9460.jpg

Here is a simple and pretty popular dip for many occasions, not just football games. It is best served after it comes out of the oven. I've munched on it chilled before as well. Serve warm though, your guest will love this. It is a great crowd pleaser for any party or group get together. It goes great with tortilla chips, pita, crackers, etc. Another option could be scooping a spoonful into individual tortilla cups or even laying a wonton or pastry dough in a muffin tray and then bake it! That way it will be more like a finger food option for a party as well :)

Ingredients

  • 2 cooked chicken breast, shredded or about 2 cups cooked chicken

  • 1 cup Frank's buffalo hot sauce

  • 1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese (the one with about 2 cups)

  • 8oz plain cream cheese, softened to room temperature

  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine: cooked chicken, soft cream cheese, sour cream, buffalo sauce, and cheddar cheese (save about a big handful for sprinkling over top before baking)

  3. Once mixture is combined well, transfer to a baking dish evenly and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.

  4. Bake for 20-30 minutes, until the corners start to bubble a little

  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips
