Thanksgiving Leftovers Poutine
We all have lived through the leftovers for days! It’s fun to try and see what new dishes you can turn these leftovers into. I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this one sooner, but the idea of a Thanksgiving poutine made perfect sense! It transforms your leftovers into one tasty bowl of Thanksgiving comfort!
What You Will Need:
Base:
Leftover roasted potatoes, sliced into “fries” -or-
Frozen french fries or sweet potato fries
Leftover topping choices:
Turkey or ham
String beans, peas, or corn
Stuffing
Gravy
Cranberry relish
Cheese choices:
Little chunks/shreds of mozzarella, white cheddar, monterey jack, or cheese curds
What To Do:
Prepare your potato base- Either cut and heat your leftover roasted potatoes or bake your frozen French fries. Then place into individual bowls.
Reheat- Choose the leftover you will be using, then reheat all of them thoroughly. Make sure the gravy is hot.
Top- Add your toppings on top of your potato base, add the cheese last, then drizzle with hot gravy. Place in the oven for a minute to help melt the cheese.
Eat- Using a fork, dive into your bowl of Thanksgiving heaven!
