Cheesy Buffalo Balls

Tailgating is meant to be fun, worry-free and easy for everyone involved. So if you’re up to making your own dish for your next tailgate, try this extremely fast, simple recipe with minimal ingredients making it even easier! Any fan of buffalo chicken will find each bite of these irresistible!

Use the list of ingredients below to create your own chicken filling or use 2 cups of your favorite buffalo chicken dip (homemade or store bought).

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken

  • 1½ - 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

  • About 2 cups of buffalo wing sauce

  • 2-3 cans of Pillsbury Original Crescent Dough Sheets

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • Optional dipping sauce: ranch or buffalo wing sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. In a medium sized mixing bowl combine: chicken, buffalo wing sauce and cheese. Toss to combine well and set aside.

  3. Remove one can of the dough from fridge and roll out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a sharp knife to cut the sheet into squares about the size of your palm. One sheet should give you 12 squares.

  4. Place about a tablespoon or two of my chicken filling (or your buffalo chicken dip) on each square.

  5. Place square on your palm, fold and pinch the dough to completely cover the filling. Then roll in between your two palms to complete a ball form. Set aside onto the sheet pan and continue until all the squares are assembled.

  6. Once you finish one sheet using one can of dough, pull out another can from the fridge and begin the same process with the remaining filling.

  7. Brush the egg over each ball to give them an egg wash to create a golden color once baked.

  8. Bake for about 12 minutes or until they have a golden color.

  9. Serve with ranch or buffalo sauce for dipping.
