Nutella Pizza

Here is super easy way to create a delicious Nutella pizza. You can top it with whatever you like. Sometimes I like to add banana slices and walnuts or strawberries on top. Sometimes, I just like it plain with Nutella. Do whatever you want! This is always a crowd pleaser :)

Using dough from your bakery makes this a whole lot easier and faster all while keeping the same great taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 batch of homemade pizza dough or bag of pizza dough from your bakery

  • 1 jar of Nutella

  • butter or canola oil

optional toppings:

  • strawberries

  • bananas

  • Walnuts

  • Powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Let pizza dough sit on counter for about an hour before you roll it out. In a spot not too cold or hot, I usually lay a dish towel over it (still kept in plastic bag or bowl).

  2. Preheat oven to 450.

  3. On a clean, lightly floured working surface, roll out dough either with your hands or a rolling pin. Get all the air out and don't over work. This will be a personal preference. When I make pizza I like to roll it out very thin, however when I make Nutella pizza I like it a little thicker so it is more bread like.

  4. On a baking sheet, lightly grease with butter or canola oil. Transfer rolled out dough to sheet.

  5. Using a fork, poke all other the dough to prevent big air bubbles from forming while baking.

  6. Lightly brush the crust with canola oil or melted butter, to give it a nice golden finish after it's baked.

  7. Bake for about 12 minutes, then take out of oven. Option one- slice the pizza like a bagel to create a top and bottom, then spread Nutella inside bottom piece and place top back on. Dust with powdered sugar. Option two- if pizza is too thin to slice just go ahead and spread your desired amount of Nutella on the pizza.

  8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and any other toppings you would like.

  9. Slice and serve warm.
