Green Smoothie
I have finally created the perfect green smoothie! Believe it or not, I have always had a little trouble making smoothies. For some reason I always found it difficult to get the ratios correct or even pair the right ingredients together. I always felt unsatisfied with my own smoothies. I decided to devote some time to perfect my own green smoothie. I finally found ingredient combinations I love while using the correct ratio amounts.
Ingredients
1/2 banana
1-2 handfuls of spinach
1 cup almond milk (original or vanilla)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop vanilla plant protein
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 packet of Sambazon frozen superfruit pack (acai pack or green pack: acai, kale, spinach)**if you don't use this, substitute with about a cup of ice**
Power boost with: 1 tsp spirulina, 1 tsp bee pollen, 1 tsp hemp seeds, 1 tsp flax seeds (plus a sprinkle of bee pollen and hemp seeds for topping)
Instructions
Place everything in a Vitamix or blender. If using a Vitamix, turn on and slowly increase to variable 8.
Let blend under completely smooth.
Top with a sprinkle of bee pollen and hemp seeds.
Serve immediately.
