Watermelon Pops

Easy, healthy and refreshing for any hot, summer day. Making your own popsicles is easy and much healthier because you are controlling the ingredients, mainly the sugar! I know watermelon and other fruit you’d use in general already have natural sugar, however once you freeze them, it may seem a little bland. So, the addition of honey or another natural sweetener definitely helps. If you want to spice them up at the end, sprinkle a little Tajin seasoning before serving.

*These amounts fill a 6 popsicle mold.

Ingredients:

  • 550g fresh watermelon chunks

  • 20g honey

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • ½ lemon, juiced

  • Optional garnish: Tajin seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth/pureed.

  2. Transfer puree into popsicle mold and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.

  3. Run the molds until hot water so it’s easier to remove the frozen pops. Garnish with Tajin seasoning if you want.

  4. Serve frozen and enjoy!
